ABOUT: Olivia Coady is a physical player, with superb technical ability around the breakdown. Her defense is tenacious and she leads KUSA Superclub in playing defense as "attack without the ball." Joining KUSA Superclub was a smooth transition for Oliva Coady, as she is no newcomer to the international scene. Playing rugby since the age of seven, she has represented at club, provincial, and national-side levels within her home country of New Zealand. In 2008, when Coady was first selected for the New Zealand Black Ferns at age 18, she was the youngest member of the New Zealand squad and one of five newcomers to the Black Ferns at the time. Olivia Coady is also part of the New Zealand Sports Academy, renowned for its rugby training programmes of high-caliber athletes within NZ.
