ABOUT: Cade (CJ) Hildreth represents a number of international sides, including the USA National 7s Team; KUSA Superclub, an international side based out of New Zealand; and the Samuri/"Bush Turkeyz," an Australian Select Side. As such, Hildreth has represented alongside national-side players for all three of the medal-winning rugby nations from the most recent Rugby 7s World Cup -- Australia, New Zealand, and the USA, respectively. In 2011 alone, CJ Hildreth competed in international rugby tournaments located in the USA, Australia, Italy, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Indonesia (4 different continents)! These tournaments included Hong Kong IRB 7s with the USA National 7s Team, Roma International 7s in Rome, Italy, with KUSA Superclub, and Bali International 7s in Indonesia with the Australian "Bush Turkeyz," among others. CJ Hildreth was also International Athlete's choice for "International Athlete of the Year" for 2011.
In 2012, Hildreth highlighted in tournaments throughout New Zealand and Australia and was featured as captain of the winning team for the Kiama Rugby 7s, where price money of $2,000 was collected. Also in 2012, Hildreth attended USA National 7s Training Camp at in Tigertown, FL, and reported to the USA Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA, to represent with the USA 7s Team. Cade's play was featured in the 2012 Las Vegas International Rugby 7s, with a critical try at the end of the USA's semi-final match to put the United States through to the final.
In 2013, CJ Hildreth continued to represent the USA Eagles National 7s side, participating in training at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA, and playing in the 2013 Las Vegas International Rugby 7s. CJ Hildreth is a powerful runner with the ball and has a great work-rate around the park. Cade plays in the forwards.
